So we’ve written it to be read. This page covers how booking works, what happens if you need to cancel, what we can and can’t promise about treatment, and how Skin Club membership works.
Last updated 4 August 2026Every treatment starts with a consultation, and we only treat you if it’s safe and suitable.
We don’t take deposits. We simply ask for 48 hours notice if you need to change or cancel.
No aesthetic treatment can be guaranteed. We’ll always tell you what’s realistic before you commit.
You’ll have full costs in writing before anything goes ahead. There are no surprises on the day.
Skin Club runs for a minimum of six months, then rolls monthly. Each payment’s credit stays valid for six months.
If something isn’t right, tell us. We’d always rather put it right than have you go elsewhere.
Open whichever section you need. If anything here is unclear, ask us — we’d rather explain it than have you agree to something you haven’t understood.
This website and clinic are operated by THE MANSFIELD PARK CLINIC LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17144565, trading as The Mansfield Park Clinic. Our address is Carr Bank Stables, Windmill Lane, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire NG18 2AL.
These terms cover two things: using this website, and the agreement between us when you book and receive treatment. By booking an appointment you accept the parts that relate to treatment.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
The content on this site is provided for general information. It is not medical advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for a consultation. No treatment is suitable for everyone, and what is right for one person may be wrong for you.
The text, photographs, design and branding on this site belong to us or are used with permission. Please don’t reproduce them elsewhere without asking.
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be up to date or uninterrupted. Where we link to another website, we aren’t responsible for its content.
You can book by phone, by email, or through the booking page on this website. We’ll confirm your appointment before it’s held for you.
We don’t currently take a deposit to secure an appointment. Your booking is held in good faith, and we ask the same of you.
Please arrive on time. If you’re running late we’ll do what we can, but appointments are booked to a specific length and we may need to shorten your treatment or rearrange it so that patients after you aren’t affected.
If you book online, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you 14 days to change your mind. If you ask us to treat you within that period and we do, that right ends once the treatment has been carried out.
If you need to move or cancel an appointment, please give us at least 48 hours notice. That’s usually enough for us to offer the slot to someone else.
Because we don’t take deposits, a late cancellation costs you nothing. It does cost us an empty appointment, so we’d ask you to treat the notice period seriously.
We reserve the right to ask for a deposit from anyone who repeatedly cancels late or doesn’t attend. If that ever applies to you we’ll tell you directly, and it won’t come as a surprise.
If we have to change your appointment — illness, an emergency, equipment failure — we’ll let you know as early as we can and rebook you at a time that suits.
Every treatment begins with a consultation. It exists so we can be confident a treatment is safe and appropriate for you, rather than simply available.
You’ll be asked about your medical history, medication and allergies. Please answer fully and honestly. Some conditions and medicines make certain treatments unsafe, and we can only make a good decision with accurate information.
We may decline to treat you. That might be for a clinical reason, because the outcome you’re hoping for isn’t realistically achievable, or because we don’t believe treatment is in your interest. This is not a judgement on you, and we’ll always explain our reasoning.
We do not treat anyone under the age of eighteen.
Some treatments require a patch test or a cooling-off period between consultation and treatment. Where that applies we’ll tell you at your consultation.
No aesthetic treatment can be guaranteed. Skin, healing and individual response vary, and two people having the same treatment may see different results. Anything we tell you about likely outcomes is an honest professional expectation, not a promise.
Most treatments here work best as a course rather than a single appointment, and some build over weeks. We’ll be clear about that before you start, so you can decide with the full picture.
Aftercare matters as much as the treatment. You’ll be given clear instructions, and following them affects both your result and your safety. If you have any concern afterwards, contact us straight away rather than waiting for your next appointment.
Treatment goes ahead only with your informed consent, which you can withdraw at any point — including after you’ve signed a consent form and before treatment begins.
Prices depend on what you need and are confirmed in writing after your consultation, before anything goes ahead. You’ll never be asked to commit to a cost you haven’t seen.
Payment is due at the time of treatment unless we’ve agreed otherwise. Where a course is paid for in advance, the sessions remain available to you and we’ll agree the schedule with you.
We may change our prices from time to time. A price quoted to you in writing is honoured for 30 days.
Skin Club is a monthly membership. Each payment is added to your Personal Skin Investment Fund as treatment credit, which you can put towards consultations, treatments and medical-grade skincare at the clinic.
There is a minimum term of six months. After that, membership continues on a rolling monthly basis until you cancel.
Each monthly payment stays valid for six months from the date it is added. Where you have credit from more than one month, the oldest is always used first, so nothing expires before it needs to.
If a treatment costs more than your available balance, you simply pay the difference on the day. Credit cannot be borrowed against future payments, has no cash value, and cannot be refunded or transferred to anyone else.
You can cancel after the minimum term by giving us one month’s written notice, by email or letter. Your membership and its benefits continue until the end of that notice period. You can upgrade at any time; downgrades take effect after the minimum term and the same notice period.
If a payment fails, membership benefits are paused until it has been collected. We will contact you promptly rather than letting it lapse quietly.
If we change the price or the benefits of a tier, we’ll give you at least one month’s notice, and you’re free to cancel before the change takes effect.
Birthday Glow Rewards are subject to these terms and cannot be exchanged for cash. Membership benefits are for your personal use and can’t be shared. Membership does not guarantee treatment — everything remains subject to clinical suitability, and a clinician may decline where treatment would not be appropriate or safe.
How we collect, use and protect your personal and health information is set out separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Clinical photographs are only ever used publicly with your specific, separate permission, which you can withdraw at any time.
Please tell us first. Email [email protected] or call 01623 461 723. Most concerns are quickest and best resolved directly, and we would always rather know than not.
We’ll acknowledge a complaint within five working days and give you a full response within twenty-one days. If we need longer we’ll explain why.
Lara is a registered nurse and is accountable to the Nursing and Midwifery Council. If you remain unhappy after we’ve responded, you’re entitled to raise the matter with the NMC.
We will carry out our services with reasonable care and skill, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires. We hold professional indemnity insurance.
We do not limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. Any clinic terms that claim to do so are not worth the paper they’re written on, and ours don’t.
Beyond that, we aren’t responsible for losses that weren’t reasonably foreseeable, or for indirect losses such as lost earnings or the cost of a missed event.
We aren’t responsible for a poor outcome that results from information you didn’t share with us, or from aftercare instructions not being followed.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your treatment is the one published when you booked it.
The date at the top of this page always shows when it was last revised. Where a change materially affects you, we’ll bring it to your attention rather than rely on you noticing.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
If any part of these terms doesn’t make sense, or you want something confirmed in writing before you book, just ask.
